Privacy Policy

We share your concern regarding purchasing goods over the Internet. Our entire site is protected by, today's foremost Secure Server Encryption Certifier. With today's encryption technology, it's safer than its ever been to purchase with confidence on the internet, and as technology changes, we'll remain on the cutting edge with the newest security methods. Every secure order is handled immediately, and we never sell, or share, our customer lists. Every order form contains questions regarding your choice of "Privacy Level."

If you do not wish your information maintained in any form, simply request "Absolute Privacy" on the appropriate order form box, or notify us specifically when ordering by telephone. We will discard, (by shredding), all material that bank card companies do not require us to maintain.

Your personal and financial information will always be handled discretely, responsibly, and professionally.

Returns

Our standard return policy is your complete satisfaction with whatever you purchase from us. Examine the items for three days and return them for a full refund of the purchase price, (absent postage), if you're not pleased. Just notify us within three days by e-mail, (or phone), of your desire to return your merchandise. We'll credit your account as soon as your return shipment arrives safely and in good, sellable condition. Pack all returns in the same manner in which you received them, to be safe.

Vintage Purchase Warranty

Electronic timepieces purchased from Old Time Watch Shop are warranted to our customers, for a period of six (6) months from the date of original purchase, (90 days for Mechanical timepieces), against failure to operate, (unless otherwise stated in the watch description). No warranties are made, either express or implied, regarding maintaining the accuracy standards of timekeeping of the original manufacturers. It is mutually understood that these watches are purchased and sold as antiques. Warranty is void if we determine occurrences of tampering. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, or abuse, and excludes batteries, case, strap or bracelet, crystals, electronic coils and return postage. **Please include return postage/insurance, whenever sending warranty repairs -- $20.

Item Descriptions

We endeavor to describe all our watches as accurately as humanly possible. We can, however, unintentionally overlook things from time to time. We will make every effort to affect corrections quickly and to our customer's satisfaction.

Shipping

All watches are securely packed, insured and shipped by the best means possible, in most cases the same week of your order. We will always insure purchases in excess of $50, unless you specifically ask us in writing, not to. Similarly, we never sign Air bill Releases, (which allow the carrier to leave your item at the doorstep if no one's home), unless you specifically request it in writing. Most of our shipments are sent through Federal Express with secondary insurance. Neither the carrier, nor OFT, is responsible for loss or damage of items left on customer's doorstep when customer has signature "release waiver" on file with the carrier. This enables any carrier to leave a package without obtaining a signature for parcel acceptance.

Please Note: International orders and orders shipped to addresses other than the card holder's address, are subject to independent verification and shipping may be delayed as a result.

Payments made by personal check will be delayed for a period of two weeks.

The business of shipping antique timepieces is sometimes tricky. Damage which occurs as a result of rough shipping, will be immediately evident. Please notify us right away so that we may arrange for repair, replacement, or refund.

International shipments will always be by Federal Express unless another carrier is specified. We prefer to use a shipping method that will produce tracking numbers, providing additional safety and delivery information for our customers, as well as for ourselves. Secondary insurance will be provided for all orders with values exceeding $250 or for any other shipments where conventional insurance is insufficient to cover loss or damage.

Finance Charges

There will be a 14.75% finance charge imposed on all unpaid balances over 15 days. The customer will be responsible for any charges associated with debt collection, including, but not limited to, bank charges, court costs, and attorney's fees.
